On July 3, 2025, St Joseph Seminary, Mangalore, joyfully celebrated the feast of St Thomas the Apostle of India. The celebration was organized by the Marthoma Malayala Samajam.

The celebration began with a solemn Syro-Malabar Rite Malayalam Holy Mass. The main celebrant was Rev. Fr Sebastian (Binoy) Kassamkuttiyil from the Eparchy of Mananthavady. Fr Alex Kalarikkal and Fr Joy Painadath concelebrated the Holy Qurbana. Dn Bijeesh and Dn Denis also graced the occasion with their presence.

After the Holy Qurbana, prizes were distributed for two competitions: a photography competition organized by the Malayala Samajam Media Team on the occasion of St Thomas Day and a book review writing competition organized by the Malayala Samajam Punchiri Magazine Team on the occasion of International Reading Day.

Following the prize distribution, Br Libin Christudas, Secretary of the Malayala Samajam, proposed the vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.

The celebration concluded with a friendly volleyball match at 8:30 a.m. between the Theology and Philosophy sections, adding a joyful and spirited end to the day.
